Proportional Representation

I believe that the most pressing matter relating to the constitution and the overall political system in the UK is electoral reform to move away from the First Past the Post system in general and specifically for parliamentary elections and to move to a system of proportional representation.

The current system is biased towards the conservative party.  Labour needs to come behind supporting proportional representation and working with other progressive parties and politicians to find a way to winning power at the next general election, and then moving to change the electoral system.

I see this as the top priority for the long term benefit of the UK.
