Art and culture are central to everybodies lives, I love the TV, Movies, Games, Books/Comics and Music I consume every single day.
There are many diverse ways that artists make a money that dont involve stricter unpopular copyright laws and these need to be supported however Covid19 has highlighted that some of these ways such as live events cannot be relied on and more needs to be done.

In addition there are so many stories of Bands and comediens etc who honed their craft and big popular books have been written while on the dole in the 90's, this isnt as much of an option with our current cruel welfare system leaving the arts to be much more eletist and harming our soft power around the world.

The amount and eligebility could be linked to previous invoices/income from the sector and/or this could be the first step towards a basic income for everyone eneabling true economic freedom.
